I consider Canton, OH to be my hometown, but my family moved a lot around the State when I was a kid. My husband, Simon, our son, Marshall, and I have called the town of Wyoming our home since 2014. Our daughter, Gretchen, was stillborn in September 2019, and we miss her every day. I work full-time as a preschool intervention specialist. Outside of work, my family loves going to parks and playgrounds around the city, as well as the Zoo and Museum Center.

Why I Will Never Move My Son from Our Community

Sharing Your Childhood with Your Child

I was born in 1981, so my childhood and teen years were filled with some pretty great (and some "so bad, it's good") pop culture. Books, movies, TV shows, toys... so many treasures. I...

Fear of Forgetting Her

My daughter Gretchen was stillborn at 30 weeks and four days, on Sept. 4, 2019. Trying to navigate this new world of grief is (while parenting a preschooler), to put it mildly, a very...
