The craft beer scene in Cincinnati is thriving!
Parenthood changes a lot of things, but it doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy the atmosphere and flavors of our local breweries.

We have you covered with everything from our “kid-friendliness” rating to our pick for what you should get “on tap”.

If a brewery is rated "0" that doesn't mean you aren't allowed to bring your kids, it just means that we recommend you do your research before you do and potentially reserve that location for date night or for your next girl's night out!

Pink = No Food or BYOF; Orange = Appetizers or Lite Fare; Green = Full Menu

Pedal Wagon Cincinnati

So many breweries, so little time!

If you and your crew are looking for the best way to experience a great sampling of the craft culture in Cincinnati, the Pedal Wagon is the perfect beer & wine tasting solution to this problem.

The Pedal Wagon is a multi-passenger, pedal-powered, rolling celebration. Operating seven days a week, you can reserve the entire Pedal Wagon for a private cruise or just part of it on a public cruise. Choose from a variety of cruises, on which you will share a memorable experience with friends, family, co-workers, or complete strangers while enjoying Cincinnati’s fantastic restaurants, bars, landmarks, and “best-kept secret” local establishments.

Perfect for birthdays, reunions, moms’ night outs, corporate outings, progressive dinners, bachelorette parties, Reds & Bengals pre-games, or just because! Have you been wanting to explore beautiful and historic Covington, across the river? Be sure to check out their newest location: Pedal Wagon Covington!

Pedal Wagon Cincinnati offers kid/family-friendly tours, so keep that nugget in your pocket for future use. If anyone under 21 is part of your tour, then the Pedal Wagon will be alcohol-free.

You are allowed to bring food and drinks (they limit the number of alcoholic drinks per person) on board the pedal wagon. We recommend fun finger foods!

CMB Recommendation: Ask for Tour Guide David!

New to Brew Recommendation: Drink what you want! (Alcohol consumption is not required to pedal.)

MadTree Brewing Company

Taproom, carryout, café, family hangout, meeting place… the MadTree taproom is a little bit of everything. As a brewery taproom, we’re proud to exclusively serve MadTree beers we brew along with a house-made non-alcoholic soda. Check out the beer garden when the weather is nice and treat the kids to a wood fired pizza while you enjoy your beverage.

Catch a Fire wood fired pizzas are served on site, complete with kid’s menu and highchairs.

This local brewery is a place you will want to visit to refresh and enjoy yourself. A great date night option in the beautiful brick-lined neighborhood of Pendleton, just a few blocks east of OTR. The rotating art cycles throughout the brewery are inspired by the artistic neighborhood setting and give this brewery an atmosphere unlike any other. A great mix of all ages and people, as well as a full bar offering, make this the perfect destination for your next night out with the girls or your significant other.

CHX, a fried chicken restaurant, will be open in December 2018 offering a full menu of chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, fries, cheese curds, and more delicious snack food options!
