Cincinnati & NKY Guide to Outdoor Fun

0
In the interesting times we are living in, some of our go-to Summer and early Fall activities may be harder than usual to do – or may not even be possible this year. With that in mind, here are some activities for outdoor fun that you can safely do with your kids while enjoying the sunshine and warm weather.

Tinkergarten

Outdoor classes for ages 6 months to 8 years. There is sure to be something for everyone! Check out their website for lots of class options.

Strollers in Motion

A fun stroller-based workout for moms of little ones. Meet other moms and get your workout in at the same time! See their website to register for classes in Springboro or nearby Beavercreek.

Cincinnati Nature Center

The Cincinnati Nature Center offers a variety of outdoor activities and events. They are also offering an outdoor preschool story-time on Tuesdays through August 4th. Check the events guide on their website for more information.

Wednesdays on the Porch

The Wednesdays in the Woods hosted by the Clifton Cultural Arts Center is now Wednesdays on the Porch! Concerts will be live-streamed via their Facebook page. Grab some treats and make it a party on your own lawn as you listen to some great music together.

Stonelick Star Gazes

Spend the evening looking at the stars at the Stonelick Star Gazes events now through December. You can get all the details on their website.

Floating Cinema

Plan ahead for a unique and fun family experience; a floating boat cinema is coming to Cincinnati on September 23rd! For one week, you will be able to watch a movie in a socially-distant boat, floating on the water. How cool is that?!? Reserve your tickets here.

Moonlight Movie Night

On July 30th, you can enjoy watching E.T. with your crew at the Moonlight Movie Night through the Springfield Township Arts Connect at Grove Event Center Park. Reserve your seat here to share this classic movie with your kids.

Allison Leland
I am a wife and mommy to two sweet girls ages 4 and 10 months. I work from home part-time as an art teacher for a local online school. As a Cincinnati native I love this city and am so thankful to be raising my family here. I love getting creative with my four year old and letting her run wild with paint and lots of other art supplies. I am passionate about encouraging creativity and art making at any age. When I am not crafting or having adventures with my little girls, I love organizing, decorating, shopping for a bargain, exploring new places for family fun around the city, cooking, and searching for local restaurants with great food. I also run an Etsy shop, be tees. by AJB (https://www.etsy.com/shop/AuroraJanesBoutique), with my sister selling screen printed baby and toddler apparel.
