Santa Sightings {Where You Can Find Santa in Cincinnati This Year}


It’s only early December but there have already been reports of Santa sightings in the greater Cincinnati area this holiday season! While you might not get the chance to sit upon his lap and whisper your wishes in his ear, here’s where you can find him this year:


  1. HVO Holiday Prelude and Apple ‘Crate-mas’ Tree Lighting (Dec. 4 5-8 p.m.) Live Music & Caroling – Outdoor Family Fun – COOP Cocoa Barn – Bonfires, Santa and the Grinch will make an appearance!
  2. A Night in Lights – Christmas at Prasco (Dec.4, 5, 6) – A drive-thru event, including a photo with Santa himself!
  3. Virtual Bedtime Stories with Santa – Check the City of Fairfield’s Facebook page for live stream bedtime stories on Dec. 8. He will even read some of your letters!
  4. Drive-Thru Santa Village (in Fairfield, Dec. 12 10-11:30 a.m.) – Drive through Santa’s Village and get a picture taken with Santa from the comfort of your own car! You’ll be able to talk to Santa (and other special guests), take a selfie with him, and then drive safely out of the parking lot and on your merry way. Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the elves will have a special treat for the guests!
  5. Cincinnati Zoo Festival of Lights – Santa can be found sitting in his sleigh in Santa Village. Enjoy a socially distant visit with him. You can also visit Mrs. Claus and drop off your letter to Santa in the zoo’s mailbox.
  6. EnterTRAINment Junction – Visit with Mrs. Claus in her kitchen and then chat with Santa Claus himself on their exclusive “ZoomFace” video chat in the Christmas journey!
  7. Holiday Express at Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad – Climb aboard a festive train ride and enjoy a socially-distanced visit with Santa afterward
  8. Cincinnati Museum Center Holiday Junction – Of course, no holiday is complete without a visit to Santa. Although guests will not be able to sit with Santa to make sure he hears their wish list this year, they will be able to speak with the jolly elf in the Public Landing adjacent to Holiday Junction. Santa will be busy preparing for the big day but will happily pause to speak with guests through a plexiglass barrier.
  9. Calls with Claus – New this year from Sharon Woods’s Holiday in Lights – Santaland, the virtual version! Enjoy a 10-minute video call with Santa. The package includes the full video and photo of your time with Santa.
  10. Santa’s Wonderland at Cabela’s – Enjoy a special free reservation to visit with Santa responsibly. Santa will be behind a plexiglass screen.
  11. Kenwood Town Centre – Photos with Santa! Face masks may be required during your contactless visit.
  12. Macy’s Santaland at Home– Enjoy virtual visits with Santa from the comfort of your home. Also tune in on Macy’s Facebook page for Cookies and Milk with Santa facebook live videos, answering your questions about Santa!
  13. Newport Aquarium’s Scuba Santa’s Wonderland See Scuba Santa swim underwater with a tank full of sharks and tell him what you want for Christmas! Meet cheerful elves straight from the North Pole and enjoy a Water Wonderland full of colorful holiday lights and festive music.
  14. Santa’s House in Hamilton Visit with Santa, get your photos, and deliver your list!
