It’s time to start planning all of that endless summer fun we’ve so been looking forward to, and our Summer Camps guide is full of some of our favorites!
The Summit Country Day School Summer Camp

The all-day programs at The Summit are fresh and packed full of fun for all children, preschool through grade 8.
The Traditional Day Camp services ages 3-6 for nine weeks of summer (Monday-Friday 9a-3p) with each week hosting a theme to center the crafts and games. Your children will be all smiles as they explore the arts, take cooking lessons, get outdoors, and unplug. Extended Day will be offered beginning at 8 am and again after camp, from 3-4 pm.
“My youngest loves the traditional day camp with the weekly themes. My middle child enjoys robotics and STEM camps and there are plenty to choose from to keep him busy. This year my high school kid will take the ACT prep college essay class to be ready for his college applications. The Summit has exceptional programs that my children really enjoy and at a good value compared to other summer programs.” – Beth, camp parent
Primrose Summer Adventure Club

Get ready for a world of discovery in the Primrose Schools Summer Adventure Club. New adventurers and old friends power up imaginations with fun experiences and exciting activities like building robots, creating digital art, taking on engineering challenges and playing sports. Contact the Primrose School of Symmes directly for more information.
One of the things we love about this camp option is how flexible the schedule is – while camp runs from 9 to 3:30, extended hours of 6:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. are included at NO EXTRA COST. You can really make this one work for you and your summer needs! Do you work full time? No problem; sign your little one up for the entire summer!

Overnight camp feels like a rite of passage.
After hearing rave reviews about the YMCA Camp Kern experience, I decided to take a risk and let go of control (because, yes, that is what it felt like to me) for one week out of the summer and see what would happen.
